Hytera introduces the P60 smart poc radio for mission-critical teams

Hytera presented its new P60 Smart PoC Radio at GITEX GLOBAL 2025, targeting professionals who can’t afford dropped calls or unclear audio in the field. Built with a rugged design and smart connectivity features, the P60 is aimed at users in public safety, security, utilities, and transportation.

Mission-critical connectivity that stays stable

Designed to meet MCX standards, the P60 supports prioritized voice, video, and data with ultra-low latency. To keep teams online in changing conditions, it combines dual nano-SIM, eSIM, and WLAN, and can automatically switch networks to stay on the strongest available signal for more consistent, uninterrupted communication.

Clear audio is a core focus: the P60 uses a 3W speaker rated up to 105 dB, supported by AI-based noise cancellation to keep speech intelligible in loud workplaces or when users are moving at speed.

Fast, reliable recording for evidence and reporting

Beyond push-to-talk, the P60 can function as a dedicated on-scene recording tool. A slide-to-record action launches the 50MP rear camera immediately, while a pre-record feature saves the previous 120 seconds of video—helping capture what happened even if recording starts a moment late.

Photos and videos can be uploaded to Hytera Digital Evidence Management (DEM) for centralized review and archiving.

Built for quick handling and long shifts

The P60 is designed to be operated confidently under real field conditions. Its 3.5-inch high-brightness touchscreen remains responsive with gloves or wet hands, while programmable keys and a rotary knob provide fast access and precise control without digging through menus.

Power comes from a 4,000 mAh removable battery, rated for up to 24 hours per charge. Hytera also highlights chip-level power management to reduce overall power consumption. With IP68 protection, the device is built to withstand dust, water exposure, and accidental drops.
